Was just there 2 weeks ago (Sept 1) and stayed in the Boutique Solarium Room, which does include a fireplace. As others have said, construction was a non-issue for us, but we stayed Friday night. Not sure if weekday vs weekend will have an impact.

There was some construction but our room was quiet as was the hotel. We had a fireplace in the room; the room and amenities were exquisite.

I do not think the construction will be done by November. It was not an issue at all when we stayed. There is a fireplace in the lounge/restaurant. I'm not sure about fireplaces in the guest rooms. Book it, you won't regret it!

Don't worry about the construction, unless you plan on sitting on the balconies... Hotel is really nice, book it you won't regret it!

Hi, we stayed in a suite which was really quite cheap and it was really well set out, comfortable and had a fireplace. Not sure on what stage the construction is up to, but I suggest you would be happy with the hotel. Even with the construction works, it wasn't too much of a hassle. Cheers, John

The lounge on the second floor has a wonderful fireplace, am not sure about in room fireplaces. The construction I saw was on the street opposite and was not so much a noise problem but more an eyesore and traffic.

We had a room directly across from the construction and had no noise problem. Book it and you won't regret it.
