L'Hermitage Hotel Questions & Answers

Singapore, Singapore

This hotel looks good. However, my main concern is that my flight to USA on April departs at 8am. Would it be safe to get the hotel's cab at 5am to Vancouver International Airport?

How much is the service?

This is my 1st time to Canada & top priority is safety as 5am may be too early to leave hotel.

Thnk u.

Dear Wealthy_Babay,

Thank you for choosing L'Hermitage Hotel Vancouver.

L'Hermitage Hotel unfortunately does not offer a shuttle service to Vancouver International Airport. However, it would be our pleasure to pre-arrange a taxi for you for 05:00am in the morning. The journey from the hotel to the airport is approximately 25-30 minutes that time early in the morning with a charge of appoximately $25-$35 CAD.

There are also several Limousine services to choose from in Vancouver offering quick service to Vancouver International Airport. It would be our pleasure to assist you in arranging this type of private car as well.

Wealthy_Babay, I hope this information assists you with your transportation decisions. If there is anything we may further assist, please contact us at your earliest convenience.

Sincerely.

This area of Vancouver is very safe and walkable. And the light rail, Canada Line skytrain, is safe and comfortable and leaves from city center, a few blocks from the hotel to YVR/Vancouver frequently. Contact the hotel directly and they will arrange your most comfortable transfer to YVR airport

5am is going to be early enough. You can book a wake up call and a taxi the night before so you wont be late.

The airport is about 25 minutes away depending on traffic. As u plan to leave at 5 am ( l can't see any issue with this. Just book the taxi through the hotel the night before ) u shouldn't have any issues. We paid $50CAN ( incl tip ) on the way in to the hotel and about $45 ( incl tip ) on the way back to the airport ( which the hotel organised for us ) Interestingly, the concierge queried with the driver who took us to the hotel the fee. So if the hotel requested the taxi, l think it would be a reasonable price. Certainly ask the concierge what the price would be.

Any issues, l am sure the hotel can assist. They were super helpful for us.

Welcome to Canada! 5 am should be fine. Its about a 25 minute ride to the airport if traffic is good. That will give you additional time in case of traffic. From my experience that time of day is safe to travel. And traffic should be more than fine. I can't recall what I paid the taxi; however, the front desk should be able to tell you. Great hotel!

Check out the Fairmont YVR. It's an escalator ride to the departure gates.
