We may be visiting Nova Scotia this week and have wanted to check out the Cabot trail but thought maybe March might be a bad time to go. What do you think?
It wouldn't be my choice for a time to do the trail. Still cold and probably snowy in the higher elevations and no leaves on the trees making it a little boring. That being said, there are still some views that are worth seeing regardless the weather.
The good season starts to visit the trail is from May to Nov. Well, if you are close to Sydney or towns nearby, does not hurt to take a drive. It could take about 4-5 hours from one end to the other. Otherwise save the trip to later seasons. Enjoy your vacation!
