We are travelling to Montreal with our 2 year old. Do you think we could do this tour with her or will be too loud etc? Thanks in advance
I have 4 children. I did not bring them on this tour, but I would (not sure they are allowed actually, but trying to answer the question). The experience is what you make it. You know you're going to breweries. If your kids can handle that, then bring them. I can't tell from the context if this sort of thing usually bothers your kid or not - that is the better question.
I would not recommend bringing a child for a number of reasons. the tour requires a bit of walking in a group on sometimes narrow and crowded city sidewalks, which could be harder to navigate with a stroller or a small child while staying close with the group. You are also going in and out of brewpubs, which can also be noisy places. Between music, televisions and patrons consuming alcohol, there is a lot of stimulation that may not agree with a young child. The tour is a fantastic one and our tour guide was phenomenal, so if you can manage to have supervision for your child, I would recommend doing this.
