I agree with those above who suggested Head Smashed-In. It is a well done exhibit around the actual site of the buffalo run. Fort MacLeod was also good but if you only had time for one, do the Head Smashed-In.

yes you could go to high river they have magg'ies diner from the heartland tv series a good little museum also while at head smashed in your visit to fort mc'leod would be worth do'ing

Definitely Head Smashed In Buffalo Jump, a UNESCO site. You wn’t be disappointed.

yes...Head Smashed in Buffalo Jump, Fort MacLeod and the Musical ride. Also the Remmington Carriage Museum.

If you take highway 2, you can stop in Nanton and see the air museum. You can also explore Claresholm. Depends on what you want to see.
