Were you around back in 77-79? I'm a American and I was stationed at Edzell RAF base before it closed back during that time period.

You guys in Scotland had the BEST egg rolls, absolutely NOTHING like the egg rolls they sell here. They are terrible.

Didn't you make it with bean sprouts? With nice chucks of meat? Here they use what I call some kind of sea weed to fill the roll with small piece of meat if you can call it that. I don't buy them now.

Do you still make them the way they were back in the late 70's? Any chance of getting what all the mixing you put in those egg rolls if you do?

Yes they still make them We call them spring rolls in Scotland filled with Beansprouts and ham and sometimes veg inside then deep fried till pastry is crispy Yummy with a chilli or yoghurt dip
