I am planning a trip to Granada either February or April, 2018 and look forward to seeing the gardens. What will be growing then? Will the gardens primarily be the shapes of hedges that do not lose their leaves?
Hello, I was there again in April 2017 and the beds were in full bloom so nothing to worry about if April is your choice.
That will be spring, so I imagine the gardens will be in full fresh regrowth. It is much more than hedges - profuse flowers, garden settings, fountains, statues, buildings. Full of aromas of flowers and herbs. You can't help but be entranced. the more so if you have a sunny day. Have coffee or a meal in the equally delightful American Hotel. A trip's highlight all round.
Yes their are plenty of green hedges and trees that don't shred their leaves . The most beautiful plants hedges and flowers well worth a visit.
