Hi, I'm trying to decide between a visit to Siam Park or aqualand when we go to tenerife in July. Siam Park seems very expensive so I'm leaning towards aqualand. Is it suitable for kids between 11-15? Also are water shoes allowed? From reading reviews they seem like a good idea as the grounds are very rough but one review I read side shoes aren't allowed on the slides?
I can't comment on Aqualand but can assure you that Siam Park is fantastic. We went 3 times during our week's holiday (entry was free for us as part of our hotel package though). For 11 - 15 year olds it's perfect. Ours are aged 9 and 11 and loved it. I saw plenty of people wearing wetsuit shoes but we had bare feet and had no problems anywhere as it's spotlessly clean. Enjoy your holiday.
The slide shoes are allowed flip flops are not when we went. You can get twin tickets to you do aqua land and a zoo or the other twin ticket is Siam and Loro Park. You can get them before you go on attraction tix and they are cheaper and each ticket comes with a food voucher for the parks which really helps.
Hi when we were there i saw people wearing slide shoes. We walked up the stairs in our flip flops and then put them on our hands. The park is suitable for all ages.
We were told that to go to Siam park it is very expensive and you aren't allowed to take in your own food, so we choose aquamarine instead.
We used the soft water shoes and they were a 'god send'.
