Hi

Can someone advise me the cheapest way to get from Leonardo de Vinci airport to the hotel please?

I'm assuming by train or is there's metro from the airport? Where do you buy a ticket for the train? If so what is the station near to the hotel please?

Many thanks

Kathy

I took one of thoughts airport shuttle buses it was about $25 for one person. They don't leave till they get a full bus, which is about 20-30mins. Also you can Google map it and Google maps gives you lots of different train/bus routes.

We hired a car because we were touring but I would suggest that taking the train would be cheapest. The hotel is only a 5 - 10 minute walk from the Conellia subway station.

I would find it a bit of a schlep to get from the train station to the hotel with luggage. I would do a private transfer.

Hi,

From the airport you can get a nonstop train to Rome termini. From there get the metro to Cornelia (line A towards Battistini) . Get off, turn to left and go down via Boccea. About 3 turnings to the left is via Gregorio. Marc Aurelia is about 300 yards on left. It is quite easy and we managed suitcases!

Hope this helps.

Hi Kathy, we paid for a private transfer. The local station is about a 10 minute walk away then its about 25 mins on tube to the main termini where you then get a train to the airport. Its not the easiest of routes with suitcases.
