Me and my boyfriend are planning a trip to Switzerland while interailing this summer, just wondering how much does this train journey cost or would it be included in the interailing pass?
We have the Interrail pass and wish to do the same i have done some research and found this
Interrail and Eurail are NOT valid on the line to Rochers de Naye!
Are you staying in Montreux or area as there is a free Montreux Riveria Card issued by when you stay in Montreux area. which will give you 50% off another option if you are up for a walk is to take the Montreux funicular - The Territet – Glion which is approx CHF 5.40 one way or CHF10.80 return and walk from Gilon to the summit approx 7.5km and takes 1hr 49 mins.
Also just found this 50% off the following train tickets :
- Montreux - Rochers-de-Naye (free to Haut-de-Caux, then half price) with the Riveria Card issued free in hotels/yha in montreux. The station Haut de Caux is further up the line and is free and then pay for a ticket haut de caux to rochers de naye which when i looked on the sbb website is CHF13.20 input haut de caux to rochers de naye in sbb website it takes 21 mins for that part of the journey.
Hope this helps Maria
