I would like to know how critical is using the chopsticks in the restaurant. If a person is not skilled in using then, can he or she asks for a firk and a knife or it will be rude? I need to know because if it is rude I need to cancel a reservation because I have a problem with fingers that it make it hard for me to hold a chopstick.
It's no problem at all if you're not able to use chop sticks at this restaurant. The staff is very friendly & professional. They focus on making you feel comfortable.
Many thanks for all your answers. They were all very very helpful.
Of course you Can Ask a fork! This restaurant is one of the most incredible experience you can do, all the staff is very kind!

Enjoy one of the best dining experiences you can get anywhere!
You can ask for cutlery, they are very helpful. Most of the customers and some of the waiters are not Japanese either, they won't consider their use rude at all. Enjoy your dinner
No problem at all to ask for knife and fork.
They also have chopsticks for beginners, where the two chopsticks are held together by a spring at one end.
But again, feel free to ask for chopsticks. No offense.....
Just relax and enjoy the wonderful food.
