Hello, I will be arriving from London on Monday 3 July and my flight should land at Arlanda at 1245. Please tell me the best way to come by public transport to your hotel.
Alexander M Budden
You should take Arkansas express
Hi, I took Arlanda express train which terminates in central station - the hotel is walkable from there. The Arlanda express takes only 20 minutes from the airport and is a very comfortable ride. We were visiting someone who lives in the district near the hotel and they recommended this as the best transfer option. Enjoy Stockholm. Kind regards, Steve
There are direct trains from Arlanda to Stockholm city centre
When you get off the plane head for the airport taxi rank ask what price they are charging to get you to the hotel we got the price down to 470 SEK door to door look on the side of the cab it states the maximum price (Stockholm Taxi) If you are staying for 3 days it may be worth investing in a 3 day Stockholm Pass this gives you unlimited travel on the Hop on Hop off buses and free admission to lots of museums and attractions (not the ABBA museum)and the boat cruises. City pass is 995 SEK £100 approx. but we got more than our monies worth out of it. Try to get 3 full days out of your pass. Hope this helps, Les
Dear Mark, easiest is taxi door to door. If you choose that, then take a "Stockholm Taxi", which is reliable and competitively priced (about 595 SEK. Non branded cabs can go up to 3-4 times the regular price).
just as quick is the Arlanda Express (280 SEK) which takes you to T-Central (Central Station). From there you can take a Subway to Rådhuset, which is literally next to the hotel.
