Budapest Jewish Heritage Tours Questions & Answers

Santa Barbara, California

My clients will only be in Budapest one day, Sunday, Oct. 16. They have a tour scheduled for the morning. How late can they get a private tour (2 hours) in the afternoon? What happens if the boat schedule is off and they miss the tour? Any refund?

Please advise asap.

I took the tour through trip advisor. I advise you to contact them over the phone, once you find online the type of tour, hours you are interested in.

Trip advisor has a very good record in giving information over the phone.

It was a wonderful experience.

Hi,

Definitely book a driver. They will alter the tour of Budapest to suit the clients.

2 hours should get you through most things to see but I suggest the Jewish tour, shoes on the Danube and the castle in the old town

Boats are pretty good and run to schedule but always confirm prior.

Tell them to take the tissue it's very emotional

The boat down the Danube is spectacular. you can see all the heritage buildings from the river but not the Jewish heritage tour.

I hope they get as much out of it as we did. I would be interested to know.

Cheers

Lisa

Ps the private driver will take you anywhere they want to go. Ours dropped us off at the shoes and we walked to the Jewish sector on our own.

He showed us all around the old part of Budapest and past most of the famous landmarks.

It was a whole day tour for us but they can shorten that.
