I have heard and read great things about Budapest Jewish Heritage Tours. I have tried twice to contact them via the form on theiir website and heard nothing. Does anyone have contact information for them? Phone or email? Thank you. ~Laura

Make sure your times for the tour and dates are within their operating schedule. I booked on their website and i recall they did not give a timely response, however they will respond. Remember they to some respect are still living in a communist mind set and may not be aware of western standards with respect to doing business, however this tour is informative and the guide appears to be connected with the community and is totally worth it. They do have a number and speak english call them need be. good luck

Best thing to do is go on your own....you can book at the entrance. It's cash only so make sure you have local currency as credit cards can't be used.

We turned up and joined a tour group.

Also for a far reaching tour of the Jewish sector hire a private guide...they will take you to anything you want to see. It's the best spent money.

Don't forget the tissues as it's pretty confronting and very emotional.
