A friend and I are interested in going on this Jewish Heritage tour in Budapest. We both speak Hebrew. I speak English; she doesn't. She speaks French; I don't.
Do you have a suggestion? Maybe you have a tour guide who speaks English and French well? Or Hebrew?
Our experience is that the tour guides are multi lingual. On the Jewish tours most speak Hebrew....but French and English are widely used.
I don't think you will have any issues.
Don't forget to take lots of tissues is very moving...
You can have quids tours. There are many languages and many of the guides are multi lingual.
Although I don't speak Hebrew I would assume they will have more than 1 guide who does.
Perhaps call ahead and check but I don't think language will be a problem.
It's well worth doing but still brings tears to my eyes 18 months on.
Have a great holiday
Agreed about language. Just call the tour company in advance and see who they might be able to provide.
There are many guides available. We had an English speaking woman who was switching between languages for the different people there.
I don't speak Hebrew but I think you would be ok finding someone who does...
Don't forget to take you camera.....and you tissues. It's very emotional.
Love yo see your pictures after so please do post them.
