Well, I did have a tour guide for my first day and also to go to the sites as he already got the tickets and we did not have to queue under the sun. The Majorelle Garden is far from te Medina and we stayed at The Riad Dar Najat ( right in a centre of the Medina).
no, you can just walk round on your own.
There is no need for a tour. Just take a walk i the garden and the stuff in the garden and museum is so kind that they can answer to you if you have any questions. Plus the museum has all the info and specific explanations.
We didn't see the need, but it depends if you want a lot of additional info. It was very hot when we visited and after queuing for 45 minutes and wandering around for another 45 we were happy to go for a beer elsewhere.
I dont think so I think its just a beautiful site to see but no need for a tour through it. However it depends how interested you are in the history or if you are just there to see the beautiful garden.
yes ..is great
Depends on your interests. The garden is beautiful and tranquil, with lots of plants from all around the globe, but filled with tourists and we went in March so quite how busy it will be in June I shudder to think. There are two museums as well, but by the time we had queued for an hour we decided that we didn't have enough time for them. If you decide to go, go early. If I'm being honest I enjoyed the horse and carriage ride back as much as the gardens themselves.
We bought tickets on the day at the entrance. It took us 35 mins to walk slowly round and also has lunch there which took 45 mins.
