Dear FiyazIsmath,

Thank you for your question. Osmanbey station is the closest one. It takes roughly 15 minutes to walk.

To go to Sultanahmet, you can get on the tram from Kabatas station. You can walk down to Kabatas tram station and it is about 15 minutes walking distance. One way ticket costs 4 TL per person. Or you can buy a smart ticket.Tram takes you there in 15 minutes.

If you would like to take a taxi from our hotel to Sultanahmet it takes approximately 20 minutes and the cost will be 25-30 TL. (may vary depending on traffic)

Please do not hesitate to contact should you need any assistance.

Sincerely,

Asli F

Sorry am not very familiar with Istanbul metro network . As far as am aware there is no metro station close to Blue Mosque - there is a team passing by. Going by taxi from the hotel - should be around 20 minutes if it is not a rush hour as traffic gets very heavy.

If planning to go to Blue Mosque area it make sense then to try to see other historical places in old town and not just Blue Mosque. Things like Grand Bazar, Spice Bazar , old Sultan Palace etc.

Closest metro is about a ten minute walk. A solid ten minutes. The Metro tends to be the better option because 1) traffic; 2) 'where is the taxi taking you?; 3) Fast and efficient; 4) Metro is clean and safe; 5) Metro is easy to navigate - even has a funicular at one point.

One can purchase a multi use card that includes train/bus/etc.

To and from either airport take a taxi as the distance is further.
