does anyone know what the wine menu is like here and if there are choices that are not ridiculously i.e. any options priced below £100 for example and what the average cocktail price is please? plus what restaurant would suit a special occasion that was waiter service across all the 3 hotels? Thanks
Hi Suzanne, the wine menu was quite extensive with a variety of costs. We're from Australia and a glass of wine at the One and Only was costing us the equivalent of about 15AUD. Similar to what you would pay here for a wine in a 5 star setting. We discovered the Rooftop Lounge has happy hour every night from 5-8pm (happy 3 hours!) and you get 30% off the bill. The wine sizes at the Lounge were a bit bigger than the restaurant serves too. Cocktails were around 20AUD but really well made and again served at the Rooftop. Its a very nice setting there. We didn't get to the French Restaurant at the Palace but I think it would be suitable for a special dinner. What you will pay for is water. Still or sparkling is offered at the restaurants. It was about AUD 10 per bottle. We were provided complimentary water in the room each day however. Enjoy! The food is amazing. I loved the Rotisserie, Eau Zone and the Beach restaurant at the Palace. The staff cannot do enough for you.
