Another question please. Breakfasr seems to be the only meal served . If that is the case, then are their cafes etc . nearby and within walking distance or is a car required?
Whilst the town is not very far the hills going up and down are very steep, you are best taking your car. Your hosts are just fantastic and you can rely completely on them for advice and help.
If you ask ahead of time, Riki can make you a soup and salad supper. Also, you would want to drive to restaurants or take a taxi which Riki can order for you.
Unfortunately, the inn serves only breakfast, and there aren't any restaurants within the neighborhood. We had rented a car for our entire trip, so driving to restaurants wasn't a problem. On the other hand, the inn has a shared full kitchen, so you always buy groceries and prepare food yourself (with plenty of seating in the common areas).
