Yes, you can visit the corniche alone. You will just need to wear an abaya which can get hot and sweaty, but you won't need to cover your head in Khobar. The area is very safe. I never feel afraid or nervous when I'm out in Khobar; but I did have a weird guy follow me along the sidewalk for a ways, however, he seemed pretty harmless. If you end up having to catch a taxi, agree on the price before you get in the car, and if the car doesn't look clean, you can skip it and wait for another car.

There are women walking around the Corniche by themselves all the time. The atmosphere is like parks anywhere, except for the way that women dress - no shorts or tank tops - abayas all around. The area is very safe. How to get around? Many companies can send a driver, but taxis are very easy to arrange with the hotel. Hotels and swimming? I don't know about that in Al-Khobar, but a short trip to Bahrain on a weekend will solve that.

Absolutely yes, you can do that. The situation here regarding females is more different than what western media stereotype . To get around you can use careem transportation service or uber and if you are coming after 4 months you will be able to drive a car legally by your self as government will Permit females to drive cars.
