Is this facility hanicap accessible and can you use a trael scooter to get around?
Yes to both. They have ramps and an elevator
If memory serves there were ramps into the building as well as various points throughout. Definitively, the walkways are wide and there are elevators. The staff seemed very accommodating and would probably be willing help with any issues you might have.
yes, there are ramps & an elevator . The staff is also very helpful. Since I have rods in my back I need to sit occasionally & the staff noticed this and even brought a chair to me when they saw me looking around for one ! so I'm sure they will help in anyway necessary
The museum seemed fully accessible from my point of view with ramps and elevators where needed and necessary. Walkways were wide, ramps were gently sloped and its easy to navigate. I would say someone using a scooter could really enjoy this museum with full access to all of the exhibits. If you have any further questions you can always give them a ring, they are really nice at the museum 610-432-4200.
