You will drive through most areas of the red rock grandeur. But hiking trails abound in most of these scenic areas.

While Sedona has a number of fine dining and resort options, I tried to enjoy more of the outdoors there. I just marvel at its beauty and wanted to enjoy the outdoors vs the indoors. But pick your preference.

If you have the time then you can do anything in Sedona. In my week there I went hiking, rode ATVs, and went on scenic drives. It’s a city that has something for everyone of all physical abilities and desires

The beauty of this area is that you can do either. It is amazing that even the parking lots have spectacular views. Enjoy your trip!

It will all be smack right in your face when you get there. If you can't hike, don't worry. It's so worth it even just from the road or parking lots. Slide rock mountain was pretty easy.

You'll have the opportunity to do as much of either as you like. Plenty of trails, but you can get a lot of places by car or tour

My group were all Senior citizens from a local Church club. We were able to see a lot with very minimal hiking. Most of our travel was done by bus or train. I have lots of beautiful pictures to show from this beautiful, exciting trip. If i were younger, I would love to have done some hiking, too.

It is totally your choice. But you will miss a lot of you do not do hiking. There are places like the Devil’s bridge that you cannot see from the highway or even the standard helicopter tour. But you can still see a lot just driving if for some reason you cannot hike.

You can do both. There are parking areas and you can follow hiking trails.
