Sunset Tower Hotel Questions & Answers

Voorhees, New Jersey

Is this good hotel/location for a 15 year old girl for her first trip to LA to see Hollywood and other tourist sites? Please give me suggestions on area and or hotel to stay in? Right now I have reservation near airport but I'm afraid I'm too far with everything, especially with traffic in the area.

I believe there must be places which are

More fun and less stiff for a 15years old person.

Try near Venice area.

Great place to visit LA. Close to a lot of destinations. Of course, you can find a hotel in Beverly Hills if shopping is the main attraction but this one has the old Hollywood charm. I also stayed there with my family once when visiting LA as a tourist.

Hi. In terms of area, yes, rather than staying near the airport, I would recommend this area, and it seems like a safe neighborhood too..(I walked around at night on my own, and with a friend to go to restaurants and stuff, and didn't see anything dodgy) But in terms of Hotel, I had some awful memories there, and as a grown up it was difficult to deal with, and they said they've fixed the problem by firing one of the managers at the time, but it wasn't just one manager attitude problem, it was constant tiny problems here and there, like they say the room is ready, then it turns out it's not ready, they keep you waiting for 30 minutes, then you go up to your room, and it's the wrong room and stuff.. I'm sure other people didn't have any of these problems and had a great time there.. but I wouldn't take any risk to send my 15 year old daughter there, if she's travelling on her own.. there was a nice hotel with super friendly staff just right across the street. Can't remember the name but they have been helpful there with everything..

Well I'd definitely stay at the sunset Tower lots of history at this location and I definitely check out the Saddleback restaurant it's directly located across the street to the left it's got a very nice vibe very interesting location they can seat you outside and there is a little arcade section in the back they have a mechanical bull that you can ride I wouldn't suggest she gets on it but it's pretty cool to watch

The Sunset Tower is a 5 star location

It would be a very nice hotel for a 15 year old, but a more appropriate hotel for this age would be the Standard on sunset.
