Staying here this coming weekend. For our 3 year old, do you advise him wearing (and us buying) water shoes for the water park/splash pad area of the resort?

Water shoes are probably a good idea but not absolutely necessary. The water park area was spongy and even in the summer it didn't get super hot on the walk areas. But if it were me, I'd use them just to protect their little feet.

Yes and buy then before you get to the park to avoid paying a premium. We walked around barefoot but our kids are older. For a toddler I would do watershoes.

Our 4yo was fine round the pool bare footed... only thing is the ground is quite warm but you can always cool off in the pool

Yes, I do recommend foot coverings for little ones. There's lots of people poolside with food and stuff. It would be safer with footies!

Hey

No not needed. No glass in the pool or bar areas stall so pretty safe. I been going there for 4 weeks a year for the past 6-7 years since my youngest was 2. never needed them and never seen any incidents.
