Hi, We will be staying at Harbour Lake the first week in December. We don't want to eat all our meals in the Disney parks. I know you have dining options on site but we were wondering if there are some reasonably priced, kid friendly dining options nearby. We have hopper passes so we would like to take a break and go somewhere to grab a bite to eat and then return to one of the parks later in the day.
We did our meals at the suite. There are full kitchens at the facility and gas BBQ outside the buildings so we didn't really check out any restaurants. The Walmart Super Centre is only a couple minutes away so we just bought our groceries there.
Close to the resort there are many restaurants to choose, like Denny’s Chili’s Wendy’s Pizza Hut many many more you have no problems there is even a Friendly’s ice cream restaurant enjoy
Beside all what was mentioned, there’s Golden Fork which is a fine dinning restaurant walking distance from the resort.
There are tons of places to eat. There is a Thai restaurant nearby as well as fast food restaurants. If you want to cook there is a Walmart close by.
There is only one restaurant there. It is all outside seating. Not many choices on menu. Salads, Hot Dogs
Burgers. Chicken Fingers, Fish Tacos and a few other things. There are no restaurants in walking distance. Our room did have a full kitchen. You can go food shopping and cook. We didn’t like it there at all. We were lied too and it ruined our entire vacation. We stayed the second week at the Marriott World Resort, much closer to Disney and so much more to do. Good luck with whatever you
Do. Just remember that there are parking fees at the parks. We started off with an Uber and then hopped by Disney transportation. Take an Uber home. Much cheaper than renting a car. Enjoy!!
