Best Western Plus Kootenai River Inn Casino & Spa Questions & Answers

St. Albert, Alberta

I seem to be reading about quite a few complaints concerning air quality - especially in the casino and front entrance.

Is this still the case?

Thank for your inquiry regarding air quality. I am happy to let you know we recently invested in a state of the art air quality system in the casino rooms that not only exhaust out the smoke but has a molecular design to eliminate the odor as well. It has improved our air quality immensely. We do, however, allow smoking in the casino rooms and have one room that is non smoking.

Thank you for taking the time to write. We hope you decide to come visit.

Typo above

The balcony was "not usable" as so many smokers on adjoining balcony.

Also, balcony was neat unusable as they need 24/7 security just to stop the chain smokers from smoking on balconies. Too bad, view was beautiful. Again, if you don't have kids, and are a smoker, this place was beautiful, but for $200 a night, as a non smoker, this place sucked.

Nope. Still blue cloud of smoke... BW should just call it a smoking hotel, warn off families and get over with it. Problem is, the chain smokers second hand smoke gets all over bedding/pillows and their coats/clothes won't be stopped by air quality at door.

Nice place for a smoker. Just stop trying to recruit the poor odd family who accidentally subjects kids to smoke.
