How is the staff, room size, amenities? And also is it close to shopping and activities?
The staff is wonderful, very friendly. The rooms are about average size, not too small, but not huge either. The location is very close to shopping malls, not walking distance but right at the traffic circle which connects to NH Mall and outlets in Maine right over the bridge. Check out Kittery Trading Post in Maine they have everything!! It is also about 1 mile from downtown Portsmouth with great shopping and restaurants.
The staff and the room size was excellent! I didn't take too much advantage of the amenities - however, downtown Portsmouth is about a 5 minute Uber away. Really easy to catch an Uber and not too expensive. I think it was about 7$ to the main st. I have nothing but great things to say about my stay here!
The staff were fantastic. There stores and other interesting places in the area, but a car would be necessary unless you were hearty walkers or bikers. It is really close to the port and the downtown, which is a great historical port. I had a really small room, by choice, as it was a quick stop. I think the other rooms were about standard motel/hotel size. My friends had a room with two beds and it was also nice.
We found the staff professional yet friendly and very knowledgeable. We walked to the downtown area which was about 20-30 minutes walking briskly. If walking is your thing then ok. If not I would suggest driving and parking. There is a lot to do in that area once you are there. The hotel is a bit away from the downtown area. There are car dealerships near to the hotel and four lanes of traffic.
The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. The bedding is very comfortable and the rooms clean. The rooms are average size-large enough, and are well-equipped.
It is about a mile walk to downtown, which has plenty of nice restaurants and some boutique shops. There are many shopping opportunities within a half hour drive
Staff is great--friendly helpful. Rooms are a little bit on the small size but they are very comfy--furniture is nice and new; coffee machines, hair dryers, irons etc are good. It is a about a five to ten minute drive to downtown shops and restaurants and bars and about ten minutes up the highway to the Kittery, Maine outlet malls--all in all a pretty good location as long as you don't mind driving to places--it is not a great place for walking to things.
Staff is wonderful, rooms a bit small IF you are putting more than two in a room, amenities standard (nice small outdoor pool). As far as location, it's not far from downtown, but it's not in downtown. If you want to walk out of the hotel and find a restaurant, coffee shop, boutique, bar, picturesque things, etc., you might want the Sheraton or Hilton.
