What time does the pool close?
I read a few reviews that stated that there are "rules, rules, rules". My family and I had some problems at other hotels were it felt like the staff members were constantly watching you, and breathing down your neck. I have a large family with kids ranging from 2-18 years old, and I want to know if noise will be a problem.
The last thing I want is to be on family vacation and have my children be yelled at for minor things.
8 and there are no out of the ordinary rules but the staff an guests like myself have no problem addressing any of the problems that would upset a perfect hotel
We had the same concern as our room was right by the pool. I recall the pool closing around 8 or eatlier. Noise was a non issue. Management is very strict about pool use. You will see people cleaning pool every night and every morning. The pool is spotless, one of the cleanest pools I have ever seen. Great, great place!
Pool closes at 7pm. I have stayed here 4 times with my kids, ages 9 and 12 and never had an issue...never felt like anyone was looking over us.
The pool does close at 7, which is common in the Crest. They are also not required to have life guards. Although we do not have young children anymore I can't imagine noise being a problem as it is a family motel. Just left there on Friday, have fun!
I really never saw the owners except during the business of checking in. I saw families everywhere using the pool, pool tables and many other games. It was nice to see that there were all types of people enjoying themselves. Largely they want everyone to have fun. Noise out at 11pm is a reasonable request I think. No, I never knew they were there.
yes, the pool does. close at 7pm. I have found that the owners are wonderful people. we have been staying here for 20+ years.
There are a few rules, but they are nothing extreme. They are in place to ensure everyone has an enjoyable time....no eating around the pool (who wants food falling or blowing into the pool?), quiet time is after 11pm(that is very reasonable for a family oriented hotel), no ball playing on premises( I know I don't want to get hit with a missed or overthrown ball. Go right across the street and enjoy the big open city park).
And they don't yell at anyone. They politely ask that you stop doing whatever it is that is unacceptable at the time. And then thank you for being their guest.
I stay here every year and I have a very energetic 9 year old. The pool closes at 7 and they ask that noise be kept down after 11pm. That time is never a problem for my family and I don't feel there are tons of rules. The owners are great and very accommodating. This hotel is very kid friendly. Hope this helps. I love this motel
