Do you offer the option of diving with air in the cage?

Hi! Please note that Great Whites are surface feeders and shark activity takes place on and just below sea level.

No oxygen, scuba gear/experience or diving certification/swimming skills are required as the free floating cage is attached to the side of the boat.

While inside the cage, your head and shoulders are above sea level until the dive master gives the call to let you know that the Great Whites are approaching. You then put your head and shoulders below sea level for the close sightings as the Great Whites swim towards and past the cage.

Great Whites are extremely sensitive to vibrations, and therefore scuba gear/oxygen tanks deter them from coming close to the boat. Thus the use of breath-holding is the most effective method of enjoying close encounters with the sharks.
