Reviews of indicate that you have limited parking. If this is true what alternative arrangements are there? We will be driving in and staying two nights.
It is true that we have a limited amount of self-parking. Parking is $25 per night plus tax. Parking is on a first-come basis. If we are unable to secure a space in our parking lot, there is a parking lot about 4 blocks away. I believe they charge about $20, but no in and out privileges. If you have a reservation, and you let us know in advance that you are requesting parking, this will help. It will not guarantee that you will get a space with us, but it will give you a better chance. If we can't secure a space for you on the day you arrive, we can put you on the list for a space the next day. Street parking is an option, but spaces on the street open up after approximately 6pm. Also, if you choose to park on the street, please read all signs carefully, as there are Muni meters around the hotel in addition to alternate side parking for street cleaning. If you need any additional information, please let us know. Thank you.
Re: parking--first come, first serve; usually I arrive early and can get parking. You can usually street park without too much difficulty, but watch the alternate street side parking signs--they street sweep and will ticket/tow if you are parked when the sign says no! The front desk also has an independent parking lot that they will send you to, which is a few blocks away. I have not used, but I would think it will be fine. All and all, while a bit frustrating, you should not have any problems.
