how many hours would you say would be best for this museum?
If you don't have a special affiliation to Pittsburgh, two hours might be enough. I spent two hours but would have spent more time if I had it. As others advised, it will depend on your level of interest.
I would allow at least three hours. Enjoy!
You could stay for at least two hours in the museum, but if you decide to go through all of the exhibits, expect around a four-hour stay at the museum. Hope that helps.
At least 2 but you could easily spend up to 5 browsing the exhibits. If you are coming for an event like Italian Day or other special days I would expect to spend at least 3hours.
we spent 2.5. it depends on how long your attention span is.
We were there two hours but our kids read nothing and constantly ran ahead. So we skipped a lot of things or literally ran threw them. I think if it was two adults we could have been there three or four hours. There was a lot to see. However, there is a huge sports exhibit that could take at a minimum of an hour to see but if you are not sports fans that would cut out a lot of time. It had every successful Pennsylvania athlete including Olympic gold medalists and college athletes.
