How safe & accessible is mass transit/public transportation from the Amtrak station to the Gardens?
I agree totally with Rev Wendy. The buses are safe and finding the right bus and the correct route is always the hardest part of the process. Not sure where you will be departing but there is a transport area where the local trains and buses arrive and depart across Lancaster from the Amtrak Station, due north toward downtown. I have not ridden Amtrak but I have ridden the TRE and caught the bus from there. Advance study of which bus route you need to catch and having the correct amount of the ride fees will take much of the worry out of the process. The routes are published and there are arrival/departures times that are closely kept. Kinda cold for the Garden right now, might substitute some of the museums just down University toward 7th Street.
The Amtrak station is located in downtown Fort Worth 5-7 miles from the gardens. There are buses that drop off and pick up on University Drive just outside the entrance. You can also Uber if you're uncomfortable riding the bus. I've ridden on our buses a few times during icy weather without any issues. Wishing you safe travels and enjoy the gardens.
