Good afternoon Kerrie, our apologies for our late response. I thought this was already answered by a member of our staff. We here at the Independence Visitor Center do not have storage areas in our building. And what many have said in their response is correct. For Amtrak holders at 30th street station, they have baggage check. That is the only place in the city that offers such a luxury.

Please feel free to reach out to me directly if you have any more questions.

Thanks so much.

Al

The web site says:

Where can we store our luggage in Philadelphia?

For day trippers or people on the go who want to leave their bags behind while sightseeing in Philadelphia, your options are as follows: Many museums do offer bag checks including the National Constitution Center, Philadelphia Museum of Art and the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts with the cost of admission. Travelers arriving from 30th Street Station also have the option of checking their bags for $4.00 apiece with a valid Amtrak ticket. Bag storage is not offered at the Independence Visitor Center or its satellite locations.

There are not too many options for baggage downtown and apparently not at the visitors center. There is a bus station downtown.. Check with them on lockers. Ditto for 30th Street Station.

I got this information straight from the Independence Center website.

Yes at the visitors centre. Or else at the train station.

't know the answer but I would definitely try with the train station first. They usually have lockers and its situation is very central. Good luck!
