Why are ratings showing 4 stars for the reviews but 2 stars next to hotel name?
This is no big hotel with fancy settings but the hotel was like home from home. The price when booked early was much lower than other hotels in the area. The location was fantastic, the rooms a very good size and the breakfast, although limited, was sufficient and fresh. Staff were also helpful. The hotel doesn't have to be 4* with all the amenities that comes with that to be rated highly by it's customers.
It's a 2 star hotel per its amenities, i.e. whether it has a pool, a conference room, suites, etc. It does not affect the actually quality of the hotel.
Not sure. That would be a question for tripadvisor. Did you try contacting them? It is an interesting question.
