we will be in New Orleans for a week beginning March 4, do we
absolutely need a reservation, esp if we go for lunch on a weekday?
I would absolutely make a reservation. Enjoy !!
I would make a reservation. It's out of the way, and you wouldn't want to get all the way out there and not be able to eat.
I would highly recommend it. As a person who has worked in the industry my entire life, I would recommend always making a reservation, because you never know what may be going on not only in the area, but in the restaurant itself, such as private events.
I’m not sure if you will need reservations for lunch we were there right before Christmas and offices were celebrating their Christmas luncheon‘s
But we were walking the Garden District stopped and made a reservation and came back for lunch about an hour and a half later
Recommend you download the OpenTable app and make a reservation. Easy to change the date and/or time if your plans change. This way you're assured that you're expected, which makes your dining experience much smoother.
I would make reservations just to be on the safe side! Enjoy!!
I would say you do just to be safe. You might want to take a chance but since it is a must do in NOLA. Just do it. This place was packed when I went. Also if you are celebrating something tell them if they don’t ask.
You do not have to make a reservation for lunch, BUT - you do not know what meetings or conventions are in town, and if they are busy, you are going outside in the courtyard. Make your reservation, have the turtle soup (which I love), then go back one night and have dinner - just order the Bananas Foster done tableside.
Not at all, they are not that busy during the week.
Yes, I have their number and will def make a reservation, there will just be the two of us. I may order the turtle soup. I've never had it, but I have a hunch it will be outstanding.
don't need reservations for lunch. However, dinner is recommended to be sure to get in.
It sure doesnt hurt, especially depending on how many will be in your party. It's easy enough to get one and that way you won't be disappointed. I've seen nights that you should be able to be seated without a reservations but I've also seen nights that, even with reservations, they were backed up.
It's such a great place to eat and part of the whole New Orleans experience so why chance not getting to enjoy it.
