Contact the Alaska Sealife Center directly. I believe they have regularly scheduled behind the scenes tours, but probably do them on special requests also. The staff is very informative and available for questions.

We would recommend this tour. The $20 gives you access to stories and information you cannot get by wandering on your own. This is a really interesting stop you should not miss in Seward.

Behind the scenes tour can be organized at the centre. They are conducted by actual staff members. The tour was very informative and worth while and only cost about $20.

You can get a variety of behind the scenes tours, animals encounters, or guided tours that are priced between approximately $15 to $75 depending on what you are looking for during your visit. You can book when you arrive, but they recommend (due to limited space) calling in your reservation in advance. The encounter hours and availability depend on the season. The Reservation phone number for the Alaska Sealife Center is 888-378-2525 It is an amazing place to visit! Hope you have a wonderful trip!

To be honest, we didn't check that out, though I'm sure they probably offer something like that. Perhaps you can call them directly?

I believe that you can arrange that tour by calling them. Not sure if it is online.

If I remember was not overly expensive. I want to say $75, but do remember exactly

Really good place to visit. Great insight into local waters.

Not sure there is that much to see behind the scenes. Everything seemed pretty public and out front. Sorry cant help. But one word of advice if you are arriving by boat, take the bus, they say it is an easy walk but is not.
