Yes, there is parking but I recommend parking free at downtown Visitors Center. and taking the free shuttle to Museum Hill and other points of interest. The shuttles come every few minutes and go to all the tourist areas downtown- Canyon Rd. Art Gallery area, Railyard Area, and a couple others

As to previous comment on parking near the plaza in Santa Fe, we used the parking ramp at corner of SanFrancisco and Sandoval. Very easy and yes, we paid $12 for one day, but car was out of the sun and we had less traffic to contend with, and we were there several hours.

Yes, large lot. Stairs to outdoor plaza and museum entry but might be an elevator available, or a ramp.

H. Reed: There is ample and free parking. However, I recommend using the free bus shuttle service called Santa Fe Pick-up, unless you are driving from out of town and only visiting the Museum Hill district. This includes the Folk Art and Wheelwright museums, and Botanical Gardens--all within walking distance of each other. There is virtually no place to park near the Plaza, so if you visit Museum Hill and then plan to visit the Plaza area you'll need to make arrangements for parking.
