We got a train from Milan airport to Lake Como. It wasn't a difficult journey. Como is the last stop. Took a couple of hours with just 1 change. Not expensive either. Once at Lake Como station the bus terminal is right outside, so just ask someone which bus it is for Tremezzo, Think it was 10 but do check!

Hello, coming by train is a bit fiddly, you can get the best route from Google Maps but really you'd be better off renting a car yourself.

If you DO take the train it only goes as far as Como then you have to take a bus to the hotel. It'll take you about three and a half hours in total, going by car is just under an hour and a half - although there are some narrow bits along the lakeside which are hair raising.

You could get the ferry from Como, it's about 2hrs but you CAN take the fast boat which takes only 45 minutes. Mind you it doesn't stop at Cadenabbia, instead it stops across the lake at Bellagio which is no big deal because there's a ferry from Bellagio every 20 minutes or so which will drop you off really close to the hotel.

Have a great time.

Take the train to Varenna (approx. 1+ hours from Milan) and then take the ferry to Cadenabbia.
