Nicola,go and make the most of it. When we were there back in May there was no a la carte restaurant nor poolside bar.. The food in the dining room was easily edible, but quite bland. The pool area was perfectly adequate. The public areas are typical of a tourist hotel. The bedrooms are clean enough and tick most of the boxes. The bar area is decent enough and the bar staff are perfectly pleasant, but they are only allowed to serve you two drinks per person at any single visit. As others have mentioned, take some spending money and eat out , that's the only way your tastebuds will get a tingle. Most importantly, I,m sure the weather will be better for you, than it was for me, so u won't be spending too much time in the hotel,so go and enjoy it.

We did make the most of what we had however yes we were expecting a better hotel etc than what we had, there are some lovely local places to eat. It depends on what food you like, there isn't a lot I won't eat but it wasn't amazing and we couldn't really afford to go out and eat all the time and shouldn't have had to for the fact we'd paid for all inclusive. Hop this helps

I think I would ask your agent to book you into another hotel. If you read the other threads then you will see others have managed to do this. I think Thompsons have pulled out of this hotel because of all the complaints. I am not surprised. We went last year and it was fabulous. This year was quite grim. We still managed to have a good time but the hotel has gone down badly. You should be able to change your hotel. Fingers crossed.

I was meant to be staying at this hotel for 11 nights from the 20th of June, we managed to change our whole package deal on the Sunday before we were due to fly, so it is possible for Thomson to do this, there was only two of us so I'm not sure if that made it a little simpler also the time of season. I would recommend pestering Thomson to change your package as it is worth it, we ended up going to sidari and staying in a small family run hotel half board for two weeks also getting a refund on money owed due to a price difference. A couple of reps spoke to us about the park hotel staying there had been a big over booking and they were having to change people's hotels as soon as they arrived. Hope this helps! I did previously write a question about changing before we were due to fly

When I was there a couple wanted to move but would have had to pay a 1000 euros transfer and decided to stay put, there was 6 off them but even so not happy a shame. Savery up all year to be dissatisfied.

The agent yesterday said there wasn't anything g they could do at this stage and basically I have to wait until we get there although he did say some had been automatically moved and notified on arrival .. All I can now do is cross my fingers . Taking a lot of the excitement away

It's really not that bad!! We went at the start of June for two weeks. It is what you make it. It's clean and tidy the food is acceptable although I've had better. Take a bit extra money to eat out a few times.

Don't worry you will have a good time if you just go with the flow :-)
