Hi, do you provide daily room cleaning service?????? What other room service do you provide???
Thank you for your question. Past guests have done a wonderful job on explaining our cleaning and servicing program. You will find that most accommodation on the Gold Coast is the same with weekly servicing except the larger chain hotels that service daily. Should you have any further questions please feel free to drop us a line. Ann Michelon (Manager) Bay of Palms Resort
Room is cleaned weekly if you are staying longer than a week. If you wish to have more towels than the one per guest per week provided, you can always get more for $2 per towel.
As this is a self catering apartment guests receive several tea bags, coffee sachets, toilet rolls etc, it is then up to guests to get their own provisions. As the Pines shopping centre is only a few minutes walk away and the two supermarkets there are open
until 9 pm each day, this is easy to do.
Guests are expected to leave apartment tidy, dishes washed, garbage removed - this only takes a little time to do.
You will find Reception happy to help with local information, tour bookings etc.
No they don't provide a daily cleaning service as far as I'm aware. I think they clean the rooms weekly if a guest is staying longer than a week ... and of course whenever the guest departs.
If you need more towels, you can get extra for a small charge, same with toilet paper and soap. There may be other things but those are the ones I'm aware of.
Guests are expected to leave the apartment clean and tidy, eg wash the dishes that they have used, take out the rubbish and place it in one of the large garbage bins.
None of this is a big deal IMO
This is the difference between a self catering apartment and a hotel or motel. The apartments are self catering which means you do things yourself.
You can of course choose to eat out - there is a café/ restaurant where you can buy breakfast, there's a bar where you can buy drinks when it is open. There are nearby supermarkets, shops, fast food take/away, eg Pizza, fried chicken etc and clubs where you can buy meals, drinks etc.
I guess if you offer a discounted weekly price for the accommodation, the above makes perfect sense.
If guests stay for say 5 days, in self catering accommodation, and pay a daily rate, then the best thing to do would be to make sure that there are a few extra towels, dish towels, tea, coffee etc.
Thanks to the above for their views : )
