Can we do a tour of the suspension bridges on our own? What are the park hours and entrance fees?

We were with a group tour. So I cannot say for sure. We got there about 9:30. Be aware that it gets dark early in Costa Rica (about 5:30)

Yes you can walk over the bridge there. There is a main entrance to the park elsewhere but we entered by the bridge.

I can't remember the price but it was well worth it.

Yes, you can! Although we did not see a lot of wildlife without a guide, but it was nice to do the tour at our own pace. Like Andrea said, you can ask your hotel to call the free shuttle. The tour will take you about an hour, an hour and a half. I believe we paid 35 dollars a person to get into the park to do the hanging bridges tour. The park opens at 7am and closes at 4pm. Enjoy!

Yes, you can go on your own as well....if i remember well it was around 30 dollars and there is a free shuttle from town, just ask your hotel to call them....I think it is opened 8-16, shuttle goes every hour. I took the first shuttle in the morning, spent few hours in selvatura, and since I am passionate hiker I decided to go to santa Elena cloud forest, which is only 400 metres up the road, there I spent 4 hours and came back to town with last selvatura shuttle. Have fun
