Flying to Mykonos

Mykonos is a Greek Island that is a top tourist destination that is renowned for its nightlife.

The island has a very small population that hovers around 10,000.

Mykonos Island National Airport (JMK) is just a 5-10 minute taxi ride away from the town centre. Meridiana, EasyJet, and Aegean Airlines operate the most flight from the airport.

The Aegean Maritime Museum and the Archaeological Museum provide some interesting background information on the island's history and culture.

Mykonos's best beaches are located on the southern coast. There are a variety of beaches ranging from party-themed to family oriented.

Arguably the most famous piece of architecture on the island is the Church of Paraportiani. Construction on the whitewashed church began in 1475 but was not completed until the 17th century.
