Flying to Vienna

Vienna, the capital of Austria, has a population of 1,700,000 and accounts for more than 25% of the country's population

The arts, including theatre, opera, classical music, and fine arts, have a long tradition in the capital city which features magnificent performing arts facilities such as the Burgtheater and Volkstheater.

There are many buses and trains that access the airport. The Vienna S-Bahn and the City Airport Trains connect the airport to Wien Mitte station at the city centre.

Begun in 1359 and finished in 1579, St. Stephen's Cathedral is an architectural masterpiece that holds many of the nation's artistic treasures.
