Marrakech is a North African city in Morocco. The city is full of great culture, scenery and architecture.
Visitors to Marrakech can see culture first hand by visiting The Souks (the local market places for the city) as well as the Djemaa El-Fna, a lively spot for music, dancing and street performers at night.
The Koutoubia Mosque and the Saadian Tombs are perfect for architecture and history lovers, along with the Dar Si Saïd Museum.
The Majorelle Garden is also a fun stop for tourists in the city. Tours on bike, foot and in car can lead visitors around the natural part of Marrakech outside of the city limits.
Marrakech-Manara Airport (airport code RAK) is the city’s main airport, averaging more than 25,000 arriving and departing flights a year. The airport serves just more than 20 airlines and acts as a hub for Atlas Blue.
Atlas Blue and Ryanair fly to the greatest variety of destinations. Royal Air Maroc, Ryanair, Iberia and EasyJet fly the most frequently from Marrakech Manara Airport.
Marrakech-Manara Airport is only six kilometres outside of the city centre. Public transportation provides easy access to and from the airport, although walking is possible as well.
