This hotel is absolutely fabulous. We stayed in the exclusive Napua Tower which allowed us to enjoy a free but amazing breakfast every morning and a happy hour with appetizers and an open bar every evening. Our balcony looked out onto the ocean and magnificent pools. The service was excellent and the rooms were clean. We loved the bathtub and the beds were heavenly!!
This restaurant is located at the Grand Wailea hotel. Sunset is the best time to go. After dinner we headed over to the bar for dilicious drinks served in a real coconut. The service was a little laid back for such a pricy restaurant, but that might just be the Hawaiin spirit.
We got the "Romantic Interlude for Two" which included 3 and a half hours of pure bliss!!! We started out in the Terme area where we recieved a private exfoliation treatment and could choose from the many hot tubs, saunas and other ammenities to enjoy. We then recieved a sandlewood wrap including a head and foot massage. Our next treatment was a romantic bath with fresh fruit and tea. We ended our time with an hour long couple's massage. This is a MUST for honeymooners!!!
We stopped at this historic site before going to the Old Lahaina Luau. It was pretty amazing - but dont make a whole day trip out of it. If you are in Lahaina, or headed that way, take some time to see this marvel plus the 30 or so hippies hanging around there.
Scenery was lush and amazing. Drinks were disappointing - dont get excited about free drinks - its basically kool aid. There was a lot of food but it was just okay. The show was great and we enjoyed the history of it all. It was a very fun part of our trip.
