  • 2. Wet'n Wild / Parque Nizuc Waterpark
    Wet'n Wild Cancun, Cancun

Spent a day at this water park. Water slides and other attractions were good. Cons: lockers were way too small and food court is outdoors with bees and birds flying around.

  • 3. Xtreme Kingdom
    Xtreme Kingdom, Cancun

Had fun at this park riding the ziplines, really enjoyed the views from above! Cons: not anything bad but the ziplines could've been a bit faster and higher up. :)

  • 4. Playa del Carmen
    Playa del Carmen

  • 5. Sandos Playacar Beach Resort & Spa
Sandos Playacar Beach Resort, Playa del Carmen

This resort was okay, could've been better, could've been worse. Service was mediocre, good overall service, but bad room service. Called them to fix the AC and clock in the room and wasn't fixed until after 3 calls. Food although there was a wide selection wasn't very good. Views however were stunning. While the rooms we stayed in were a bit off from the water, the actual beach itself was amazing. Beautiful turquoise waters and white sand. Relaxing at the beach on the hammocks for one day made it completely worth it!

  • 6. Chichen Itza
    Chichen Itza

The Mayan ruins were a great place to visit, though the tour we took was completely pointless. If you go down to Cancun, this place is a must visit. While it's quite a trip to get to Chichen Itza, like 3 hours, in the end, I think it's worth it.

  • 7. Aventura Cove Palace
Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya, Puerto Aventuras

This resort was really quite with very little visitors. Loved their gigantic pool and pool bar and grill. The rooms also were very accommodating. Food inside the actual restaurant however, failed to please.

  • 8. Isla Mujeres
    Isla Mujeres

  • 9. Dolphin Discovery
Dolphin Discovery Isla Mujeres, Isla Mujeres

We went to see the dolphins twice. The first time we went was unsatisfactory as they only allowed us to see the dolphins with very little interaction though they claimed differently. After complaining, they ended up letting us go again, with an additional fee. We ended up riding on the dolphins and swimming alongside them. Overall though, not worth the money.
