We happened upon this place by chance when we were looking for something opened near our villa on a Sunday afternoon. We got a seaside table and had impeccable service. The wait staff were not over bearing but were very attentive. They even brought over a coat rack for my purse to hang on (never seen that done before). The garlic bread was delicious. I had the huitlacoche (mushroom) pizza and it was great. The mushrooms were a bit different than ones I had before, they definitely tasted stronger. Note: they do NOT accept traveler's checks.
My husband and I were looking for a fun but relaxing beach day during our visit to Cozumel and we found it at Paradise Beach. For use of all their water inflatables and snorkeling gear it cost $12usd each. At most places you are lucky to get snorkel gear for that price. We did have to pay a $2 admission fee for use their facilities as well.
It wasn't crowded even though there were at least 3 cruise ships in port. We didn't find the waiters pushy at all, they came when we signalled to them and then to check if we wanted refills when our drinks got low. The prices for food were a little high but nothing extravagant.
The hours flew by as we lounged beachside occasionally taking breaks to cool off and have some fun in the water.
