Points of Interest

1. Trip by car, start

To go to the Sanguinaires island, the fastest way by far is by car. The road is not that easy to find so follow the GPS data with your car.

2. Parking, end of the trip by car

At the end of the road "Sanguinaires" there's a big parking with a restaurant and kiosk where you could buy some beverages for the short hike along the seashore (1L/people).

3. Genovese tower, La Parata

At the end of the Sanguinaires road, a 10 minutes walk lead to the Genovese tower on the cape of the Sanguinaires island. All along the seashore there are a lot of these towers that were watching point to check the sea for war boats during the end of the middle age.

4. On the way

The view on the "Sanguinaires" is just breathtaking. There are several legends about this famous place included that Napoleon Bonaparte wanted to be buried there. 5. Sevani beach

The short walk ends in Sevani beach. Nice swimming point but it is the hike that is interesting so you may return before arriving at the beach.
