Barcelona is an amazing city for all sorts of holiday. It´s a famous destination but once you are there you don't feel like you are in a huge city with all the stress and noise. If you like the history, you can visit Gaudí´s historical buildings and places like the Sagrada Família which is the Roman Catholic church (still under construction, commenced in 1882). You can go via tube as the tube station with the same name (Tube line L2 and L5) is located just outside of the church with also easy access to buses and taxis (Tickets from €15.00) If you prefer the outside sightseeing, you should visit Park Güell which is a place with gardens and Gaudí´s unique architectonic elements. The entrance was free until a few years ago but the government decided to change it since the large amount of visitors (prices range from €4.90 to €7.00). The park is located between tube stations Vallcarca and Lesseps on L3 line. If you are a nature lover, you should visit two places that are incredibly magical, the first one is Parc del Laberint d'Horta (Tube station Mundet on L3) which is the oldest of its kind in Barcelona (Labyrinth shape) from 18th century - entrance is free. The second one is Tibidabo, which is a mountain that overlooks Barcelona, there is an amusent park located and also a beautiful church called Sagrat Cor. To go there you can get the Tibidabo Funicular, the Tramvia Blau or a bus direct from plaza Catalunya (111). If you want to try some delicious food you should go to Cerveceria Catalana, the food is very tasty and it´s a cheap place to eat (located in Eixample). If you are going to Barcelona for a summer break, you should go to the beaches. There are so many of them to choose from, but you can go to the ones that most suit you. If you are a party animal who likes to party 24/7 you should go to Barceloneta, it´s always busy and it has lots of tourists and music attractions (Barceloneta tube station, L4). On Icària Beach you will find a large selection of restaurants and nightclubs by the sea, the beach is located where the huge copper fish stands, it's good for families and couples (Ciutadella Vila Olimpica tube station, L4). If you are a nudist fan, you should go to Mar Bella Beach which you will see nudists and non-nudists (Poblenou tube station, L4) and last but not least, if you want to get away from Barcelona but still be close enough, you should go to Sitges. It's about 30 minutes on the train and has a lot to offer.

This place is located in Bonanova, a very beautiful area in Barcelona - very close to Camp Nou. It´s a must see, especially not many people know it. This place is on my reviews and is the one that gave me the most read contribution.

This is my favourite restaurant in Barcelona, when you go in it feels like being inside the Titanic. Go and have a look, you´ll know what I mean. They have a songs menu where you can choose what you would like to hear it whilst having dinner (there´s a pianist on the top floor)
