What a beautiful place to visit. The history is brilliant. Great eating venues, plenty of bars. Chocolate shops, patisseries all oh so yummy. They have markets, so check out times on line. You can buy many exclusive hand made products here. Plenty of Australiana goods .
This is the hub of Sydney for the ferries. Catch the train or bus to here. You can base yourself here and see so much of the beautiful city. Ferries depart here for everywhere. Manly, Watsons Bay, Parramatta (River Cats) harbour cruises, Taronga Zoo, Luna Park.
Another iconic beach you must see. Catch the ferry from Circular Quay or from any wharf. Walk along the Corso, directly in front of wharf, and head straight ahead to the beach. Stacks of cafes, shops, hotels, surf shops, everything.
See the fabulous Sydney harbour from the water. Go over to Manly for the day. Brilliant views, especially if it is a lovely night. Watch the yachts on the harbour. So much to see from ferries. Use your Opal card again.
This is a very popular place to visit. Many Chimes restaurants, and a great atmosphere. There is The Covent Garden Hotel at Paddys Market end, sit and watch all that passes. We always have a drink or 2 here before we eat. Opposite the hotel is a Chinese patisserie and there is a window onto laneway, and they sell got cream puffs. Mmmmmmmm they are delicious, and very cheap. We buy them and sit at front of hotel, and devour them. So yummy!! They are a donut type pastry filled with got custard...just delicious.
Great to see where we hosted a large amount of the Olympic events, including the opening ceremony.
Wonderful place to visit for unusual displays. There is always a very special display and it is all very contempory. We spent hours here and should have spent much longer. Very interesting. Kids and adults love it here
This is a must do if you love nature and the water. Brilliant views. You can catch the public bus from Sydney CBD, do the walk, and catch the bus back to Sydney. A great day out. See Bondi and many beaches on your walk. Wear comfy shoes and take a drink.

Wonderful place to take the kids and tire them out. Parks for the kids and cafes and coffee shops for the parents. Plenty to amuse all.
I have done a detailed review on Ibis. It is a great place to stay, and very central to all the attractions you will want to see.
This is a great place to visit. Best way to get there is one way by ferry and other by public bus. Use your Opal card. You see the expensive Eastern Suburbs and the great Sydney Harbour.
Best way to see Palm Beaxh is to catch the bus from Sydney. It is a great day out. See where they film Home and Away. Have lunch in the park on the beach.
